For Churches

Church Financial Leadership Grants available from the Presbyterian Foundation for pastors, CREs, 1001 New Worshiping Communities. The grants will enable you to institute best practices for church financial leadership, introduce you to new models of giving and stewardship, and offer you new ways to talk about money and form generous disciples within your church

Columbia Seminary received a Lilly Endowment that allows it to offer ReKindle grants that will make Impact Grants of up to $10,000 to support projects designed to enhance congregational vitality in a post-COVID-19 context to congregations that are accepted into the program. 2023

Google Grants for non-profits. Up to $10,000 a month in google search adds

Presbyterian Mission Agency Grant and Scholarships for individuals, communities, and mid councils

Older Adult Ministry Grants from Presbyterian Older Adult Ministries Network (POAMN). These $250 to $500 grants are designed to offer POAMN members an opportunity to initiate and build new older adult ministries, to re-imagine and re-shape existing programs, or to be innovative and experimental.

Austin College in Sherman, TX, as of the 2024-25 school year, will offer full paid tuition for anyone on roll in a PC(USA) church and the children of clergy and staff in a PC(USA) church will receive fully paid room and board as well

The Assistance Program of the Board of Pensions offers eligible ministers and staff a number of grants, each designed to support members’ holistic well-being. Grants for things like adoptions, housing supplements, minister debt relief, and more

Synod Mission Grants

Disaster Assistance

Emergency Grant Resources through the Board of Pensions. In most cases, these are for any church worker/ minister enrolled in the Benefits Plan. These grants are up to $5,000. Starting in 2025, the eligibility criteria will be for anyone enrolled in either Medical or Pension (or both). In the case of an officially declared natural disaster, there is an additional program that may be offered in consultation with the Board of Pensions. In these cases, when they identify at least 8-10 church employees/ministers impacted, they have Emergency Assistance for Natural Disasters. These Grants of $1,000 each are available to any W-2 church employee without regard to enrollment in any Benefits

Presbytery Grants

Mission Initiative Grants from the Mission of the Church Committee. The purpose of the grants is to assist congregations and ministries of the Presbytery of Arkansas in proclaiming the love of Christ beyond their walls; efforts that extend the power of congregations and ministries to serve the most vulnerable in our society are particularly welcome.

Faith Formation Resource Grants from the Resource Team. The purpose of these grants is to provide seed money to support Presbytery of Arkansas congregations and ministries in creatively engaging their faith community in practices of faith formation, Christian education, spiritual growth, and discipleship.

Mission Trip Scholarship Application Form - Priority will be given to applicants who are affiliated with a church or ministry of AR Presbytery/PCUSA.
